Must be a common problem with black 2000's bro because as I've been complaining since last year, I have the same problem. My most notable one was above the rear window on the passenger side, where I now have a fantasticly massive rust spot
My car is a 2000, and I took it into ford last year when it had 38,000km on it... they said the warranty was for rust... 3 years surface, 5 years perforation... I asked them about the flaking paint... they said they could fix it... at a discount of 10% but that's it...
Now I don't understand how that's fair, because my car was under 60,000 km (still is) but I'd still have to pay...
The car's going to a private shop this april for repaint, rust repair and dent pulling... but good luck with ford
