pure speculation here, but it seems like the plug attached to the sensor is what is really driving up the cost.. example.. 95 GS-R is like 67 for the universal sensor w/o the plug and its 160 for the OE type sensor with the plug.

so maybe you can save money by just getting a universal sensor and splicing up the old plugs yourself?

good thing its still 38usd each for the OE type sensor for a 91 integra LS :D
