I probably make considerably less than most "IT guys", especially Systems Administrators, but hell... anyone who has seen the view here understands why I don't want to ever leave.

It's economy of scale. If the pure numbers don't matter (and they shouldn't), then you're laughing. Take the offer.
Those who want 7 figures in their retirement portfolios aren't living responsibly / thinking realistically. That, and they're ruled by the greed that will surely consume them.
