I know Tin and Gig on FJ are crazy-deep into their turbo projects. I'm waiting for the spring because if this suddenly becomes vastly time-consuming for the initial install, I'll just go out and arrange for the second car we've discussed.

As for the JRSC guy on FJ, never heard of him :blink: I'll have to go look that one up.

I'd also be considering some sort of transmission upgrade at the same time. This needs to be something my wife will drive as well. Note I said "will" and not "can". She can drive stick, but prefers the lower hassle of an auto and remembers how much our truck ripped along.

I'd probably lean towards a turbo, the overall design and implementation seems easier. I'll go assault the FJ database for the how-tos on the SPI turbo installs.

I'd also go FMIC so the IAT is much lower and more power is produced at boost.
