Ghey. Screw the historical paint job. Campaign the car the LeMans series. That car will never have any real respect unless they actually race it.
I think the problem is they know that engine is a boat anchor, and could never be competitive with it, and they don't have any competitive V8's to work with. The only thing they could do would be dust off a 351 or 427 pushrod motor and put that in. But then they'd be proving to everybody that their OHC V8's blow and they know it.
