I'm organizing a meeting with the local residents who were affected with our Councillor.. I had good relations with my previous city councillor so hopefully I can get somewhere and see if we'll get a bit or compensation... but fighting the city might be a pain in the ass... I'm more likely to get some coin out of insurance, pending that they don't declare it an act of God. I'm hoping for the best, but who knows. I couldn't even hook up my wet dry vac cause the damned power was out... my floor downstairs is peeling and the whole bit... it's gonna be at least a couple grand to replace that alone.. hopefully the walls won't mould up or I'll have to replace at least 18" of that along the bottom... such a pain... We'll see what happens.
