Smart move . . . as I said before, having oil in it, IF it going to sit for the winter, that has already been use for a while is not good because of the moisture. The oil should be changed.

If you plan on driving the car all winter it is not necessary to change it, unless you have passed 3 months or 5k kilometers, but we all know that.
