Pardon my sarcasm. We are involved in the enhancement of our business through photo contests on a regular basis.
And yes, they want the rights to the picture(s) once you have submitted them and signed a release for them.
It is a cheap way for the company to get free photos to use for their advertising.
It also is a way to promote our business as we get credit for the pic(s) and usually about $2500-$10000 in prizes.
I am not suggesting such a grand scheme of prize pooling, just keeping you informed of why I am such a happy camper.
And I still will add to your "contest"
