the stock plugs should do you for a LONNNG time... I don't recall hearing anything about people's plugs fouling prematurely around these parts.
But if it matters, you should be able to run the stock gap (.050)... but you're probably going to experience decreased performance.
I'm running FI, and have mine gapped at .040, but will probably take them down to .035, as I seem to get some blow-out in 1st gear full throttle.
