Ok.
This will just be a short post with a bit of information i gathered yesterday
Last time i checked They were expecting approx 300 cars. Last year they had over 500.
The field will be plowed/mowed according to the amount of cars expected. If the field is completley mowed. it can take 1000~2000 Cars.
There will be food, snacks. etc. avaliable at the general store. as well as theyre thinking of setting up a BBQ.
Entry will be collected at the field. theyre thinking 3.00. Just to cover the extra preperation costs (owner of the field mowing, portapotty rentals etc)
Theyre expecting a magazine (the name escapes me at the moment) apparently the editor/owner of the magazine is very approachable. willing to work with car clubs.
This year, the owner of the land and the general store is planning to open the event to the townspeople etc.
There may be a possible change in starting point to Meadowvale GO station. (meadovwale GO is in a more industrial area of Mississauga. This Change might take place for easier organization. easier exiting. and i believe its a bit closer to the start of the actual cruise route. Brampton GO station is at the corner of steeles and bramalea (busy intersection) and it made exiting tricky last year.
C7 also suggests bringing 2 way radios... Usually set to channel 7, but more will be discussed on the actual day.
Now that more details are posted. I hope we can get some more cars out to the event this year.
