Clutch Wheel

Clutch,Jun 18 2004, 03:32 PM Wrote:If its your T.O.B. (Throw out bearing) then you don't even need to drop the trans to change it. If your pulling the clutch/pressure plate out for any reason, put in a new one. Its a pain in the ass but you'd rather do it once while its all apart than a week later after you wreck something at the track. ALWAYS machine the flywheel if your putting in a new clutch! If you don't you can get clutch "chatter" and then you will be doing the job twice! (no fun)

machining the flywheel wont get the chatter off ;) been done on mine

but yes, id also say ya need to machin the flywheel.. like changing pads but keeping rotors.. good thing to machin the rotors.. makes it surface to surface.. not surface to bumps
ZX3T gone..
