If its your T.O.B. (Throw out bearing) then you don't even need to drop the trans to change it. If your pulling the clutch/pressure plate out for any reason, put in a new one. Its a pain in the ass but you'd rather do it once while its all apart than a week later after you wreck something at the track. ALWAYS machine the flywheel if your putting in a new clutch! If you don't you can get clutch "chatter" and then you will be doing the job twice! (no fun)
