I voted Liberals because even though they're the latest to be PUBLICALLY corrupt, they aren't the first nor last, and at least they're taking the Americans to task regularly over beef and the softwood dispute.
If the PCs get the helm back, everyone in forestry is t3h fUx3d because he'll sweep the matter right under the rug to appease his missle-farming, country-paving friends. Harper's a dangerous man to have in office... he'd sell us out to the States just to be given a governatorial riding somewhere in the deep South by GWB.
NDP? Hell, NO. Unions will then COMPLETELY own the government, and the working professionals of Canada won't let that happen. Canada would become one great big slacker environment, with the odd working professional working as a renegade somewhere in the wilds. *dons flame suit*
I've always thought it was funny that it takes one smooth-talking individual to convince thousands of voting members that they SHOULD vote for this deal because it's good, and then they all vote on it. I thought the NDP was the New Democratic Party... obviously it's fumblespeak for "we're hijacking your vote. remain calm and proceed to the voting booth".
As for the Bloc? Sure.
Like I've always said, how many separatists does it take to change a lightbulb? None. They're happy to separate the bulb from the socket. And that's exactly the amount of thought going into separating from Canada.
Wanna leave? GOOD. Hop the first ship to the motherland and go put out some car fires. Your country needs you.
/end rant. I'm so dead.
