IMHO, if you can't OC on the Venus 12 with good thermal grease (AS5/OCZ U5+) then you probably have bigger issues than the heatsink.
No offense of course. I'd stick with Thermalright over the Zalman stuff. They're ok (Zalman) but their quality seems to be lacking at times. Thermalright alwasy seems to knock it out of the park. I'd go XP120 if that's the road you want, but you'll need to check for clearanaces around the socket to accomodate something of that size.
