actually, that was an hour in during the skiing... the hill was about a 13% grade... no track, and packed.
Done on cross country skis... the absurdness of a walruss trying to go downhill on two greased sticks that are hinged at the toes was what the laughter was all about.
that was the only hill that presented a major problem... but I'm definitely a much better snow boarder (which we did all new year's eve at Lutsen).
