Dude, I like you and all... but that's a load of BS. Unless there's 2 feet or more of fresh-fallen snow on the ground, I don't want to hear a SINGLE person in the GTA say they can't get out to vote because of the weather.

People were blown up attempting to vote last year in Iraq, women were threatened with violence if they voted differently than their husbands... and we're complaining about the weather?!?!?!?

I can see how my concern might seem petty to you (Hell it is in one sense) but I spent 2.5 weeks in the hospital after my accident in '99. I have no wish, or desire to repeat even a fraction of that on a slip & fall if I can forsee conditions that could cause me to have a slip & fall accident and avoid it, so I took advantage of the service that Elections Canada offered (My knee at this point is one serious twist away from requiring replacement)
