Gold Vs Green Coolant
#1
Hi all;

I had my coolant system flushed last week at Markville Ford and although it's hard to tell for some reason, it seems that they refilled the reservoir with green coolant instead of gold. Actually, it looks like a mixture. I opened the cap and looked in, but even with a flashlight it's hard to tell for sure because it seems to be yellow, but with a green tint to it.

Just looking at the reservoir, the bottom of the tank seems to have a green tint to it and the top looks yellowish. The tank itself also has a yellowish tint to it, so it might be just changing the way the coolant looks. But it definately looks more green than it used to.

So, would they mix it? Does it matter if they do? Does it matter if they used green instead of gold coolant? The part number for the coolant on my bill is "cvc*7*a" but I haven't been able to establish what kind of coolant this is.

Any advice is appreciated!
