Unfortunately, window tint is a subjective ticket, it's like "excessive noise", if the cop feels that your interior is obsured, he can cite you for it, even as a nuisance.

From what I've heard, there's supposed to be a "test" (tint meter) to judge the tint darkness. But it still comes back to whether the cop feels that he could identify you or not.

I would call a tint shop, ask their advice.
