What's the plan for cooking the ribs? I just tried to cook a small rack on my portable BBQ. It didn't go so well, actually it went ok for about an hour of just low heat. Towards the end I brushed on BBQsauce and the damn things went up in flames.
I'm a novice on the BBQ. Hopefully you guys have got some skills.

Here's the list of stuff I will be bringing.
Gas Stove
Charcoal
Paper plates
pack of hotdogs
eggs
lb. o' Bacon
buns
chips
tonic
gin
gin
gin
bag of limes
sleepingbag
tent
pllow
towels
*toiletries*
ribs
marinate (and all things for it)
big pot
jugs of water
extra liver
1 lg. cooler with packs.
Steve, I figure we can buy ice at the camp store on the way in and sort out coolers when we get there.
I'm okay with using my large cooler for the ribs. As for the rest of my food, I'll probably be able to store some of my food in my cooler, but I may need to toss my hotdogs and such in yours. Atleast until my Brother in-law showes up.
I think I'll make a last minute run into the RABBA by your place on the day of departure for last minute things.

yeah, I figured cooler duty will have to be split.. if my buddy pat is coming, he'll need a cooler for his beer.
and a cooler for food...
chances are good we'll be bringing like 3 coolers between the two of us.

I ordered one from my brother-in-law as well.
He'll need a full cooler for his beer as well. (he drinks a mean beer too)
I think we may need to import a whole glacier to ensure we have cold beer.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I also asked Jeremy to toss his kitchen shelter int eh car too....Incase of rain. we'll hunker down in there again.
Also, he's bringing the bucket of twine as well.
Bring your bungies and I'll bring tarps and poles.

if jeremy brings the uber tent from the 24 hour race, the whole site would be covered just fine... my tarps and bungees are always packed.
Maybe we should just make a call to the beer store and have them deliver it for us.

I don't think a tractor trailer can get by on those roads, they're pretty narrow and twisty for a big truck.

My brother in-law just said the same thing
EMAIL:
-----------------------
Hey brotha,
I have a few tarps that I can bring, we made need if it rains, hopefully not. Dishes, bbq and all the little things. Did you want me to bring any of that, and of course Propane and Propane accessories. I have a few tanks we never used last summer.
I have arranged for a truck to deliver our beer to the sites directly, I figured nobody has a trunk big enough to hold beer, you know seeing as everyone has a focus. Iâll be the odd man out with my TRA.
Sounds good man, I canât wait.

I'm usually the one hauling stuff around for everyone else in my focus.
That's the one great thing about the focus.. you can more than easily load it beyond it's carrying capability.
