yes, payment recieved.
i got an email from a guy in quebec who said he and a few other guys want in on this, 5 more orders in total which would meet a lower price point for everyone and refunds would be issues.
i told him he must have the money sent by Noon this friday the 21st to get in as i am now holding off the order untill then to try and get you guys a better deal.
hope that is cool with you guys.
if anyone is stressing for brakes i do have one set of pads and rotors in stock i can ship out ASAP...
let me know.

Does anyone know if it is possible or where you could get these rotors zinc or cadium plated. A freind of mine has a set with zinc plating and a year and a half later still no rust.

If not, could we get an idea of when you are shipping the brakes out to us?
I am willing to wait a extra week, but your not really keeping us up to date with progress. So as a paid up customer, please inform me of what is happening and when I can expect my shipment.

as it sits we have 6 people paid up foir the GB, including the ONE guy from Quebec. the brakes were all ordered on friday last week and i ordered one extra set of pads fore a total of 7 sets of front pads.
there were 2 local SVT owners who needed rear pads only so that is a total of 9 sets of pads. it will be upto my supplier if he wants to extend the 10+ price to us with only 9 sets of pads...
as for shipping time, i cleared out their entire Focus Stock and then some... i'm still waiting on a reply if they are doing a part shipment or a complete shipment as some stuff needed to be ordered from Hawk.
for those of you who have already paid, as soon as the pads come in from Hawk i will ship your brakes out the same day if possible.

lol, i got a part shipment today, 1 set of Zetec pads, 2 sets of SVT pads(that i didn't order), and 2 sets of rear pads...
i'll be calling tomorrow to see where the error was...

two questions.
First. Because your supplier seems to be thinking about the long weekend and not shipping you what we ordered, can you give them the hard court press for us and extend to us the 10 person discount now that we have been waiting and continue to wait patiently?
Second. Most of us are not in any hurry, but having said that, are we likely to get these parts, say, before Labour Day?

i had asked mitch to ship me the one set that he did have in stock due to me needing brakes ASAP. i had them installed on thursday and have since drove the car for 1000 km both city and highway.
this set up is definitely worth the price paid.
there is no brake-fade and the pads grab hard even when the pedal is lightly pushed.
great products that pefectly match.

I talked to my supplier and he said the 10 order thing is a pretty firm number but he might be able to cut a little bit of a better deal. end result would be like $5 off per set of pads.... nothing really all that special..
just a heads up
oh and mo, your rotors should be in at the end of the week!

Ok, enough of being a nice guy. That is pure BS and poor customer service. You want my business, then be a good service provider and get me my goods that I purchased in a reasonable amount of time. I guarantee that if I let this go on long enough I wouldn't have the parts until after Labour Day.
Someone fawked the order up and I don't care who. But my time and having to chase you for answers is more valuable. 5 days to post an answer on here as to what is happeneing with our order is too long. Either provide us with an out of pocket expense for the delays and total BS we have had on this "Group Buy".
30 days with my money and not even a hint of when your going to be shipping the parts is too long. I am going to give this 7 more days. If I don't hear that you are shipping or have shipped my parts out by then, then I will be asking for a complete refund.

if having your parts in a timely fashion was such an issue, why get involved in a GB in the first place? i even posted if anyone needs brakes ASAP let me know and i can send out what i have.... those that posted have their brakes already or on the way to them. you never posted...
call it excuses, call it whatever you want, i knew from the get-go that as soon as any sort of "issue" that might pop up, you would be the first to piss and moan about it. you know what, i'm tired of your s***. i would have kept this to PM but that is a waste of my time as you decided to post publicly aswell as send me a PM threatening me that if your parts blah blah blah...
I'm making like $5 off a set of pads and maybe $7 off a set of rotors and you have the gall to call me out for doiung you a favor?
your money was refunded, go pay more somewhere else, i don't care.
there is soooooo much more i could post but i wont.
to everyone else, thank you for your patience, i will keep you informed of any new info as i get it. orders like this take time and i have no control over when i get the parts at this point.
