I have 5 of those Zalman heat sinks. 3 of them are the 120mm ones, they don't really work any much better than the 92mm though. All the straight copper ones.
On my Dual Opteron 246 system I have two of them, which is almost half dangerous lol cuz that's like 2 kg hanging off the board. The temp sensors on the Tyan board are a bit screwy though, so I honestly have no idea how hot it runs. It says 58C, but when you go full load it says 61C, and it would seriously vary more than that. And they're usually cooler to the touch than my main box, which has one as well, and is overclocked, and runs at the hottest 50C. So I'm not sure about that Tyan.
The other one I gave to my Dad for his PC, and I think I have one on my TV PC. Does that add up?
Either way, it works very well, but not well enough to go under the temperature of the room.
Oh and I have a flower one on my video card, though of course much smaller, and it's only a half flower really. It works really well as well. Took my GPU down from the 90s at load to the 50s 60s.
