Ok, let's start a poll, a 1946 Mercury vs a 1965 Chevy vs a 1982 K Car
That's about how relevent comparing a present car to cars that aren't even out yet. You don't know what changes the current Mustang will have by 2008, or what the Camaro will be when it emerges from the production line.
Seems like Car and Driver needed a filler article. :rolleyes:

The mustang is one of Fords best sellers...apparently the V6 Ponypack cars are almost impossible to keep in stock or get, according to the dealerships I've been to. The GT is selling well too, though I think the employee pricing incentive is helping bolster it...
I'm with the others here, the mustang is cheaper, it's been around more than a year now, and the aftermarket and fanbase is there already. Besides, the Mustang has always been king of the hill in the Grand Touring/Muscle car segment, don't think that's going to change...

puppet now be nice, the srt version is going to have a 6.4 at over 500 HP N/A there are lots of parts for the 6.1L now and it has the piston shifter just like the oringal did and is I think 4" shorter then the other LX cars. And scoob I'll race your old man car

I'd always rock the mustang #1 but out of the 2 newcomers, i'd go with the challenger.....
