Hrm, makes me wonder what concessions the CAW got out of GM, since AFAIK there was an agreement in place that if the Camaro was ever to come back it would have to be built at St. Therese QC or else financial penalties paid by GM to the laid off workers...

That's great for all of Ontario actually. Re-inforces the fact that governments have to invest in the auto sector in this province. I'm at Ford in Oakville and we are glad to hear this news as we are heavily dependant on the government incentives right now.

I'm sure you're right - I remember the exact same thing.
Even if GM still owns the plant in St. Therese it would cost a fortune to resurrect it ... they must have made some concessions to the CAW (including building it in Canada) in order to make this happen.
