Rear Bearing Noise
#1
well i guess i can sort of hear a bearing noise out of the rear right of the GF's car. its the 2001 Zts and it has 108K's on it. has anyone had this problem before and how much did it cost?

is it something that i can do myself or do i have to take it to a shop?

thanks Mo

Hey,

I just recently had that problem.. But what sounded like it was comming from the back actually ended up being comming from the front. I think it was like 250 or 300 to replace... i think. I just took it into the shop.... if its a rear wheel bearing there is a recall for them, but only on certain models so you should ask first. Hope this helps.
