well i signed up to this forumn gof know how long ago and got the e-mail that i will be removed so i decided to post up my focus,
it looks like a piece of s*** but i dont have the funds for paint and body work
parts:
42lbs bosch injectors
ebay xspower wastegate
ebay intercooler
volvo tdo4hl-15 turbo
mustang gt MAf
SCT (still running base tune from steeda)
and the rest it all me

i did all of the intercooler and exhast piping my self.
and this is an example of what happens when your turbo isnt rated for the power you put down
after that blew that turbo, i ordered a t3 60 trim with a mercedes inducer wheel, from blaastperformance.com it should be in this week cant wait.
blaast is loacted in motreal and they were a big help helping me choose the turbo, becuase they made a few turbo focuses, and they do some of the best turbo rebuilding around.
well thats all and if anyone is gunna say s***, im only 18 so f*** off.
and i live on the hamilton mountain. so if there are any meets in the next two weeks im down for that.

I've seen your car around hamilton a few times. Everything can't be done at once, and not many people have the time or energy to turbo a focus, but theres a few on here.
So :hi: and check the attitude at the door when you're here.

Well being that I'd bet 95% of the people that are on this board haven't seen your car before i'm sure they wouldn't say its s***ty looking. And even if they had seen your car, i'm sure most wouldn't say anything about it.

reminds of when my buddy turbocharged his escort zx2 wiht the zetec. basically did the same thing as you. looks good and i know how you feel about ebing proud of the work, he felt the same way and so did, i had alot of wrench time on the car and i got scars to prove it!!

I asked him the same thing; he was running 8psi. In the video I beleive he was at 6.

yea the car was running 6psi and when i went to 8 the turbo blew, but soon ill shive 12 in the focus when a get a final tune.

how did it "blow" exacly..
what blew?
Couldn't it just be oil blew out of the seals caus there was too much pressure or not enough flow in the return line? srue looks like oil blew out

Yeah exacly.. thats with stock manifold like me but like 3-4 inches lower.. what does your return line look like.. how big is it?

Uhm... it's a sweet setup, but please... why those mufflers? The sound could be quite a bit more... refined with a different configuration.

no the oil return is nice not kinked and always flowing down, and the bearing are still good in ther turbo and spin nice, the rebuilder said that i just over spun the tubro and it couldnt take the amount of hp, he says it happens all the time, wit t25, and i know i have to replace my exhast, i had that exhast made before i even knew what a turbo is, and the seals didnt blow the exhast wheel ripped of the shaft.

oh ok.. well i have a t25 and hardkore had a t25 and he had smoke coming out the exhaust.. and it was the return line caus i had the same trouble at first where it would smoke like crazy when i stopped (flow of the return being blocked by the oil in the pan) .. i finally had a restrictor before the feed and now im changing the return to something bigger (5/8") ..
what is the size of your return line.. i guess you would know caus it would've smoked
