Transport Canada issues latest recalls
June 7, 2007
Ottawa, Ontario - Transport Canada has released its latest recalls, which may affect some Nissan, Ford and Lincoln vehicles.
2007 Nissan Quest
Vehicles affected: 33
On certain vehicles, the transverse link attachment to the front suspension may not have been adequately tightened during assembly. A loose link bolt may cause a rattling noise and vibration; if it comes off completely, the driver may have difficulty maintaining vehicle control. Dealers will replace the attachment bolts and torque new fasteners to specified value.
2007 Ford Edge
2007 Lincoln MKX
Vehicles affected: 74
Certain vehicles do not have an operative daytime running light (DRL) system. Normal headlamp function is not affected. Dealers will reprogram the electronic module to activate the DRL function.
