Got them on at 10PM, went for a cruise... what a treat!

A big thanks to Drivesthebeast for a great sale and some great stuff!

Don't mind the dirt and my early-morning metering blunder. Sooo tired.

Check my Facebook "Our Cars" album for pics I ripped from Drives' FS post. :D

I'll take a few pics tomorrow morning... side and rear 3/4 shots cause the front is a bug exhibit till I fix the stone chip in the windshield and wash the car

P.S. - you're impatient. :D And is FC.net slow or is just that time of night where they're doing all the backups?

Either super snail time or maybe a bit less work... H+R coilovers perhaps. It's all up in the air for another couple of weeks.

I can't get over how LIGHT they are! They're like 2/3rds - 3/4s the weight of a single 16" stocker with 50-series on them.

Noooo, don't tell me you got them for 500$
Dang, he was asking 800, then 750.
Oh well, congrats on the deal and this is a great look on your car :banger:
I was considering them, but thought they might clash with my CD Silver paint.
Oh, btw, I would remove that dealership sticker.

Congrats again on your upgrade.

Heh, but for the fact I would have had no takers for the rims I have on mine now I would have jumped at them sigh

Meh, drop, schmop, where he lives, the more ground clearance the better in the winter anyways :P

Nikiter got his for $500, not NOS.

I think they would look sweet on a silver car...I had similar wheels ;)

Hes thinking of a coilover setup, dont think he cares about the winter! :P

The coilover setup is contingent on two things:

1 - height adjustments spring and fall (highest in the fall, near lowest in the spring)

2 - constant cleaning of the coilovers to prevent rusting.

At this rate it's either yes to both or store it and get a beater for the winter.

Failing that, no coilovers. It's definitely a want that may never see the light of day. A guy can dream, no? :D

looking good! are you really going to corner weigh the car twice are year when you adjust the ride height? save the $ and just get lowering springs and matched dampers..

congrats on the wheels looking good..
