I asked the dealership to see what they could do. But its sounds like the car will be ready on Monday at best. So :P .

It's pretty much impossible to do. (I just tried it out in the parking lot)

You can't go straight down from 5th to reverse. As you pull down from 5th it heads back to neutral. You can't even force towards reverse even with the lockout ring pull up!

To get into reverse the gear lever has to start from Neutral.

No, but when I was drinking and the wife had to drive my SVTF home she would manage to hit 3rd instead of 5th a few times on the highway. Woke me up everytime!
Old enough to know me limit, yet young enough to exceed it.
