Iac Valves.

Question in regards to IAC valves...

Is the IAC valve from a 04 Auto Zetec the same as a IAC from a 00 Manual Zetec?

One on the left is from the auto, right manual. Left doesnt have a 'screw' going all the way down to the bottom??

Maybe the one on the right is broken! hahaha

fyi mine from an 04 manual that I had for spare looks like yours on the left.

They are a different part # but i think it should bolt up. its worth a try.

any idea on part #'s? this isnt easy to do, and I'd hate to put this one on and it doesnt work....

Everything Ive searched on says its the same part. But Idoubt it.

called Ford and they said its the same part # from 00-04. Lets see if the guy is right. :P

2000 zetec is a cx 1859 and the 2004 zetec is a cx 1775 The should still bolt up though.

You would have to find something with the same flange.

hey Nate how hard was it to take it off? and maybe replace it if u already have?

i need to change mine.....my car dies if i drive at higher speeds and put into N

well just sometimes....like whenever im going 100 and there's a good down hill type of a road.....the thing just dies :(
