Question About Maximum Rim Size...
#1
I'm wanting to get a set of summer rims for my Focus but am curious to find out the max size I can go with for my model and if 4/100, 4/105 or 4/108 is compatible with it.

Thanks!

2.0 L Split-Port SOHC Engine

4 x 108 is the bolt pattern (something of a limiting factor in terms of wheel selection) 17s fit comfortably with 215 40 or 45 rubber ... a number of guys on here have 18s but the aspect ratio is pretty low - not sure what it is but not a lot of rubber there to protect from pot holes.

I've seen 20's on a focus out here in BC. They were on like 35 series rubber bands.
No name, Cheap and Slutty.

You'll need to roll the fenders well or better yet (and much more cost), move to a widebody Focus RS kit. Those kits allow an 18" wheel set to fit without further modifications.
Daily driver 1: 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport "S"

33" BFG Mud-Terrain KM2s, lots of Rough Country gear - bumper, 2.5" lift, swaybar disconnects, Superwinch 10,000lb winch, Detroit Locker in rear D44 axle, custom exhaust, K+N filtercharger, Superchips-tuned.

Daily driver 2: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT

COBB Stage 1+ package - AccessPort tuner, COBB intake and airbox. Stage 2 coming shortly - COBB 3" AT stainless DP and race cat, custom 3" Magnaflow-based exhaust and Stage 2 COBB tune.

I had to roll my fenders with 17's to prevent rubbing when running 45 profile. With 40 profile I had no issues but you sure felt those bumps a lot more.
