Ford surprises with low-volume Focus X softroader at Holland's AutoRAI

At the 2009 AutoRAI show in Amsterdam, the wraps came off the limited edition Ford Focus X Road, a bifuel Allroad-wannabe slated to go on sale this July in the Netherlands.
Based on the Focus Wagon Titanium, the X Road features a new body kit comprised of revised front and rear bumpers, with a matching black finish on the doors and side panels. The suspension remains unchanged, but a new set of 17-inch wheels are fitted at all four corners, coated in Moondust Silver metallic paint. Power is provided by a 125-hp, 1.8-liter that can run on either regular unleaded gas or bio-ethanol, and if buyers opt for the "Business Pack," a five-inch display, navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity and voice control are included. Pricing starts at ââ¬25,175 (a little over $33k) and production will be limited to 300 units. Hit the break for all the details.

Very complete
The Focus X Road has a sturdy and striking appearance, but is also fully equipped. The X Road is based on the implementation and Titanium offers another DEATC (separate automatic air conditioning), electric controlled window around, electric windshield heat, rain sensor, automatic dimmende interior, automatic switching of dipped headlamps, electrically operated and heated exterior equipment, sports front seats, cruise control and an audio system with CD player and AUX jack.
At an additional cost of only â⬠500, - is the Focus X Road to provide an interesting Business Pack, consisting of an advanced navigation system with 5-inch color display, USB connector, Bluetooth phone for hands-free phones and voice-control operation of the phone, the navigation system, air conditioning and audio system.
