Ok, I have created a to-do list for my car. I need to get this all done before the end of day Friday. Its a good thing I have the week off. LOL

1) Re-paint Drums. DONE
2) Paint rotor hats and vents. DONE
3) Re-paint Calipers. DONE
4) Clean inside of wheels
5) Re-paint Header
6) Vacuum Car. DONE
7) Detail interior
8) Clean & Polish Floor Mats
9) Clean/Detail Engine Compartment
10) Empty all my misc. crap from the car. DONE

And of course give it a good bath and make it look all nicey nice. :D

Lordy, and here I am looking at only having to wash, wax and primp the car on Friday (Car has to go in for its 24K service & SYNC software update Thursday, an all day job I was told)

Well the first 3 items on my to do list have been completed. I should have cleaned the inside of the wheels when I had them off but I was lazy. I am looking forward to vacuuming my car though. We won an $850 Dyson vacuum cleaner from Breakfast Television for entering a photo on Free For All Fridays 2 weeks ago. I have to thank my wife for that prize. She entered during one of Riley's naps.

Wow thats awsome. A tip if you want use a new and I mean new toilet brush to get in at the inner part of your rims.

I need to get some good chairs.

Wouldn't a toilet brush (even new) risk scratching a painted wheel all to hell?

I use Eagle 1 Wax As U Dry on the wheels and microfibre cloths on mine.

I use a 3-M two-sided Scotch-brite pad for my rims ... the softer side for the outside finished area, and the more abrasive side for the inside of the rims.

Just slightly o/t ... after Watkins Glen I removed about a quarter pound of molten rubber stuck to the inside of each of my rims - not sure if it was from my tires or others, but it was awesome to see - scotch-brite pad took it right off lickety split.

Well I finally broke down and got a set of front tires for my car today. Just a set of cheepo's, because I am cheep. But the vibration in the front end is gone now. Shifted belt I guess?

Did the interior leather & plastics today and took a first stab at the engine bay.

Second stab comes as I'm installing my latest Steeda bling (battery clamp, fusebox cover, coolant tank cap, oil cap and brake fluid cap)

Geez they should be sponsoring the car by now :D

I did my interior as well this morning. I don't think it has looked this nice since I bought the car. Now tio just do the exterior and I should be good to go.

I am really looking forward to this. It should make me happy seeing that I lost my iTouch earlier this week. That was a real downer. :(
