So i was surfing the for sale threads on [FJ] and came across some crane st 2 cams with springs... for 150$! well put it this way... i didnt pass it up! 185 bucks shipped to my door for stage 2 cams and springs. i will either use them in the 2.3l if i go that route or i will use them in the 2.0l, we will see what this winter brings. regardless, my car is off the road in another month or so, i will go from there. Any opinions on these cams? i know crane is out of business so im guessing thats y price is SOOOO low.

from what i've read they're pretty good, and they're a little on the less aggressive side compared to others. but wow $185 shipped is a total steal, im pretty jealous lol.

$185 shipped is decent just becareful on the install that your torque down everything properly and well while ur in there might aswell do some more work lol.

Its not a bad deal, but honestly your just better off buying boost if you want power. CAMS=waste of time/effort/money.

as for boost or no boost, i prefer n/a, dont ask why.... i just do. i love the feeling when boost hits but i dont wanna go that route now unless its a blower which isnt out yet. i get addicted to modding so when i go boost ill go bankrupt lol

see i have this issue with saving money... it just doesnt seem to work! i save it up, see something i like, BAM all gone! or i save a bit of money... BAM car or something breaks and need to use money for that lol Karma must hate me...

Wouldn't that be nice? If I won the lottery the next day I'd have a Lentech tranny and a FSWerks turbo setup ready to go :) I play the lottery every week at work with 6 guys, we did Super7 but now into Lottomax since it's 10 million minimum.. You won't win if you don't try!! lol

HAHA you guys have NO idea. I've been dealing with that luck since 04' back when I got my Foci. I save up a bunch of cash to dump into my Trans Am then BAM the transmission goes on the f***us :lol: Karma is a bitch!
