Actually, you are incorrect. The brake problem with the Prius is a software failure. The Ford software issue is to improve the transition between regenerative and hydraulic braking where the transitions wasn't as smooth, which might give the impression of failure but in fact the hydraulic system is fully functional. The Ford software is a TSB, the Toyota is a recall.

Like I said, when they give a warning, they write down the plate so this person must have been warned multiple times. ie Like the Audi in the first post, that flyer on the windshield is a warning.
So, since the person has been warned and decided to ignore the warning, what would you do if you were in charge? (ie assume you support the rule and want to enforce it)

For AWD cars tow truck must use 4 point wheel lift. That goes for that Toyota SUV and that Audi.
Flat bad was a bad freacking choice. I hope that owner is smart enough to go after them (probably towing company in this case) 'cause the first thing I'd do is go to a mechanic.

That's a bit different than a car tho... it's more like you wearing a Rogers monogrammed shirt to work.
I think that if you are getting a Job at Ford, who practically gives away cars to it's employees, that it's implied that you would adhere to the policies set forth which highlight support of your company.
I'm sure Pepsi wasn't too happy to see pictures on the internet of one of their drivers, in uniform, in their truck drinking a coke -- it's negative advertising, and Ford has the right to avoid that on their own property.
Sure, it's pretty immature (and unprofessional) to tow a vehicle the way it was towed, but it's also pretty dense of the person who ignores the warnings.
And in the case of the Toyota driver, being 'right' probably doesn't feel so good in light of having your car towed -- an otherwise, totally avoidable situation.

Those high end class or exotic car manufacturies better be expecting their workers driving Bently's, Lambo, Ferrari ect. cars to work......you know might get that car towed away or something for not driving $200k vehicle to the plant......
IMO drinking or wearing something to work is a little bit different then taking $30k car....oh well good thing everybody loves my car at work

If they made the rule and posted it, then they would have nothing to cry about.
You can't say a Ford worker can't afford a Ford vehicle.
Your analogy is just plain stupid. But hey, intelligence isn't required when everyone likes your car.

To correct your analogy, a Ford worker on average makes the yearly wage anywhere from twice to four times the cost of the average Ford vehicle.
So if you asked any Ferrari worker that if they paid him $400,000-$800,000 a year, would he drive a Ferrari (that he got at a discount for $175,000) to work if he had to in order to park in the Ferrari parking lot, what do you think he would say?
Because I know if I was offered that deal, I'd be working on my Italian.

HAHAHAHA !!
I think this thread is hilarious!
Private property + Posted rules + Violation of said rules = you get what you deserve
And i work for a company that is currently building the dash assembly for the 2010 Camaro. Do i park my 2010 Mustang convertible right out front? NO, out of respect for our customer (GM) and my job, i get to work early and park at the far end of the parking lot and walk my fat over paid ass 4 times farther than the rest of my co-workers lol
P.S. any chance FORD will be hiring any of us that were originally supposed to be hired for 3rd shift any time soon?
