Funny you mentioned door speakers. I actually brought some with me to the meet, but forgot to mention it to people. Alpine Type-R 6.5s rated at 100W RMS per speaker, brand new. $120

u know type r is not going to put out 100w rms without amplifier.

and focus uses 5x7/6x8 size, to fit 6 1/2, it needs adaptor and spacer due to large magnet, it may or may not clear window without spacer.

price is good though. why are you selling it?

Of course you're going to need an amp on them if you want them to sound any good.

As for the door size, yes, you're going to need adapters. Why buy the original oddball speaker size and when you outgrow them, get stuck with speakers a size the rest of the world doesn't use or want?

The Type Rs cleared the window without spacers, on my car at least, even with a boom mat around the back for protection.

How do you know my price? I never mentioned what I wanted for them. lol But I want $120.

I'm selling them because I use to have 4 all around, but upgraded the fronts to Polk components. The original set was replaced under warranty after I removed them from my car, so the set I have now is brand new.

why buy "FORD"..they are always using odd size, but nothing wrong with it.

6 1/2 is popular because tuning is not always required to get good sound out of it and they usually go on sale, easy and cheaper to produce.
