Binder? I'd have thought you'd have an entire bookshelf related to maintenance and repair given the history of yourcar? Even my own Focus related papers fill a four inch binder.

Yup, and I had a post over a week ago asking about objections, taking ideas and comments, and basically my PDF printer is worn out from all of this... and yes, the last part was a joke.

I'm not taking credit for your list, man, nor am I trying to be an ass. I'm just collecting what was listed in case some / all of those how-tos disappear some day.

If someone wants to craft a basic HTML page that says "All articles are the property of their respective owners, list originally created by our very own S2" then I'd be happy to have the files hosted off that page, and I'll remove browse rights from that subdirectory.

In the meantime, I'll throw a readme in there this weekend.

These articles exist on public servers, from a multitude of sites and forums... and I believe they should be archived just like any other book / magazine / newspaper article. Heck, I'm paying for the bandwidth to host all that stuff, and I'm happy to continue doing so free of charge to the N.A. Focus community.

It's my way of giving a little back to the club that has helped me out so much since I got the lil' red SPI. :D

No no, I wasn't being an ass... just was saying it politely. If it can help ANYONE out, that's why I posted it..... no objections at all. Actually I can respect the amount of work that took to PDF everything....

I was thinking of doing the same thing just incase the links went down to have a backup of everything.

Nice work man!!

Ahhh gotcha, and thanks for the support. Props to you for putting that list together as well. I wouldn't have known where to start without that list.

It's just some were questioning the legalities of it, and I wasn't sure if you were either.

No hard feelings here, and hopefully none on your end. :)

We had some serious power blippage last night, but the webserver soldiered on regardless. I just tested the files and they're available. Kind of a FYI. :P

Could somebody check for us?

We will need to find another host if this is the case. I dont see him going this far. He complains about people not contributing....well I comepletely disagree, we all contribute in some way or another, just not all of us are going to give cash for something we dont think needs to paid for.

Perfect examples:

Adam taking care of the hosting for the 'How to' files.
AnthonyD doing the BBQ at his place
2001ZTS getting us access to harbour for a photoshoot
DP, ZX3TUNR, Focis8nt, and me taking our time to moderate you babies :P  Soooooo many more that I can think of but wont type. ;) You guys know who you are.
