What suspension are you running? And if you can't go lower with 195/55R16's, what are you planning on using regularly?

If your having trouble with a 195-55-16 rubbing it will be worse with a 225-35-17.Undecided

the 195 55 16 are 1 1/8" taller then the 225 35 17. i have no width issues or height issues at all nothing rubs and its stiff as hell so no trouble here the car is gettin the wheel lips Rolled prior to paint so that will help even more on clearance

it seems to get the job done.
me brother installed a forced air furnace in it last winter so it makes it even better. the shop sits at 55* with the HEAT OFF so it helps

shes jammed up pretty good 2 mustangs being build and the focus coming apart for paint.

This might be a dumb question, But why so low?

After 2" drop You need to avoid EVERYTHING.

I remember back in my racer days we dropped civics this low, But why a Focus?

With the right set-up you can get the perfect drop, without future damage...

Am i getting old?

2" drop on civic is low but not on focus.
