Rims for my 07 ST (opinions please!)

Hey all, looking at rims to purchase in the next month or so. I did have my mind made up on enkei ev5s in hyper black, however I got turned away after seeing them on a few different silver cars, not a big fan of that kind of black with the machined lip. So now I've been brewing around tire rack trying to find a new set of 17" all black rims. There are a couple that I've found that I've liked,

Motegi mr125 (painted black)

Sparco asetto gara (painted black)

What do you guys think? Or any other suggestions that are those kind of patterns. I'm more leaning toward the motegi MR125s there 17x7.5 where as most of the other rims are 17x7

I'll vouch for the Motegi's. I've had my MR7's for 6 years now in pothole rich North Bay, used 3 sets of rubber (2 sets of 40 series and a 45), had them powdercoated, and they still are good as new. Would I buy again? Hell yes!

Awesome, and I didn't know u lived in the bay! I was nip for a year then dropped that like a bad habit but was up there te next year cuz until halfway through summer I was going back to school haha... I was on lower Rez first year, then at 8 Paul street (beside wendys) the second!

Sparcos look really good i vote for them..
In Europe FORD is pronounced "\kwa-le-te\"

Sparco for my vote. Them are nice.

i'd say whichever one pleases the wallet the most...they both look alot alike. Sparco's are a good rim, prob alot lighter than the motegi's and i can give you the same reference as oscar for the sparco's..buddy of mine had a set in sudbury (not one road without craters) for like two years and their still straight as an arrow

Hmmm I'm torn, motegis are 7.5" where sparcos are 7"... Will that half inch make ne difference? I'm feeling the sparcos cuz I like how the spokes are flush with the outside lip where the motegis are counter sunk. However, I feel the motegis would last longer being countersunk as they are.
Wallets not really too big of a deal... Got 1400 for wheels and tires.

In theriory the 7.5s would allow u to run a wider tire but in any real world situation there both gona be just as good and u can use any tire for a 7in rim on a 7.5 and 7.5 on a 7.

Im more of a fan of the Motegis TBH, I had a set at one point and loved them. The counter sunk rims are a bit harder to clean at times, but I love the look. I think it gives the rim more of an aggressive racing look. It also makes the rims look wider (in this case they actually are). I guess it depends on the look you are goin for in the end.

Bah, I honestly can't make up mind! Kinda leaning more towards the sparcos now... I'll decide the day I buy them I think lol
