Just got a hold of techna-fit... He said that I should mount the brakes first get a measurement compared to stock and they can make the brake lines longer if need be!! Can't wait to get these brakes now Ken! I wonder if you should try and get a group buy together for them? I'm sure they'd go for it...

That's a good idea ... there's a few of us, me included, that have ss on the front and the rubber on the back because the ss didn't fit.
BTW - when the time comes the measurement has to be with the suspension in the fully down position ... or perhaps easier would be to measure the ones that come with the kit.

And yes Oscar home-ownership is a bitch... Just bought my house in November!! However was kinda lucky in a way... Paid 110k then there lawyer is an idiot and charged us hst even though we were told multiple times we weren't supposed to be charged it... So it ended up being 123k for the house... After we moved in we filed a case with revenue Canada for them to look into the charging of hst... Ne ways Wednesday we found out were getting a cheque next week for $13 650... So I'm not really complaining right now lol

Ah big expenses coming through. When I had to get my roofing done, most of the houses on my street were about the same age mine, so I actually did a 'group buy' on it, since I knew it was time for them to get the roofing redone as well. Quote for my house alone was $3600, but when I got 6 people on my street to get roofing done with the same guys, we each got it done for $2300!! So it was a pretty big saving.

We have our three required participants so this group buy is a definite "go" ... these kits are definitely not going down in price, and we may never again see advantageous exchange rates like we have now ... and so this is an excellent time to get in on the action.
Like everyone else I have to manage the old "outflow" for my car stuff ... and I know that the timing of these group buys isn't always ideal for everyone who might otherwise be interested ... so all you need right now is 25% down, and I can work with you in terms of the delivery timing.

I've ordered and paid for our 3 kits so we're "first in line" for whatever Ford Racing ships next. The issue as I understand it, is the caliper bracket. In terms of dates they tell me the same info as before - 1st September. As soon as anything changes I'll post it up.

Ken, what is the diameter of the svt front discs? Mine look too small behind my new rims... I might be interested in these if they won't be on back order like the rears lol.. Let me know

They fronts for the 00-04 are not on backorder. I ordered two kits this past Tuesday, I rec'd one kit yesterday and the other will arrive on Tuesday. The kit for the 05+ is the same minus the knuckle - I can't imagine they would be on backorder when the others are not.
The diameter of the SVT front rotor is 11.9" vs. 10.9" for the 05+ Focus. The SVT rear rotor is also bigger - 11.0" vs. 10.0" for the ST ... but of course the rears are on backorder for now.
