Yeah, I think it does. I can feel it just sort of fall into each gear with less effort.

weighted shift knobs make shifter alot more smooth. if had a few different ones and ther weighted one was the best for sure

Just an update. Have used this knob for a while now and quite like the way it works combined with the Steeda STS. If you haven't tried a weighted knob, you should. This one weighed in at just over 650g's.
