Daytime Running Lights

Does anyone know what will happen if I remove my DRL relay from my car?Will it affect anything other then losing my daytime running lights? :iono:

nope it just takes the daytime running lights away :D

was one of my first mods..... with light covers B)

That's right, you can just yank the relay out and you wont have DRLs anymore, it's that simple.

Isn't it Illegal in canada though... (if your car is newer than 1993) ?

It's not legal for a manufacturer to make and sell a new car in Canada not equipped with DRL, but there's no law against a consumer from removing the feature. Personally I like the idea of having DRLs, I had to disable mine when I got my HID lights (and I've since hooked my foglights up as DRLs).

This is true. But you need DRL's when you go to trade in or resell your vehicle.

i still want to mod my lights so my fogs stay on when i put the brights on.

Im pretty sure that if your car is over 'X' year,DRL's are part of your safety check.
