I'd be interested in a 1 year review if that rear bracket holds up. There is allot of stress at that point, but I think since he also braced the front your odds are pretty good this will hold up the test of time. You won't be like the rest of us that had to re-weld the highflow cats almost every year.

I'll for sure post back up in a year to see if its the same. I'm hoping I don't have a problem though, I wanted him to make it as strong as possible so it wouldn't break any welds like you guys said . He made the brackets a half inch thick.

Why not just use a svt oem cat and hollow it out now that we don't have sniffers?

I would wrap that CAT the get very hot and will heat your oil much more then you think and may even bake the oil in the pan as close as it gets

Good point - the OE cat has a heat shield at that location

Good quality stainless wont rust , use a magnet and if it sticks some its lower quality stainless if it doesnt stick at all its good quality and wont rust
Wrapping it shouldnt hurt anything but will cut down on the heat in your oil which is more important then the HFC , I would also do a 180 deg thermostat and have the fans turned on lower temp
