Over christmas I bought Brandon's zx2 engine that used to have the VCT.

Recently I found a mech that'd help me install it and teach me how to do it along the way... and here're a few of the pictures! It runs but there're no videos of it yet. I drove it on/off the trailer and it's parked out front

Thanks Brandon, by the way, for taking my phone call! We were sitting next to it debating whether to try to pry the dipstick off or not but we ended up leaving it on after talking to you!

Here're some of the pictures! We swapped over like 90% of what was attached to my engine to the escort engine. That took crazy long to do but oh well... everything was done properly. We even swapped over the brackets for hoisting the engine! There were a couple major issues that had to be taken care of while the engine was out but we took care of them too!
