I am not sure if it's any different for a 2003 but for a 2000 the Motorcraft part has two numbers on the box. The first number in a BIG font is FG-986B. The second number in a small font is F89Z-9155-A.

2000 ZX3: KW coil-over/IceMan/FC UPD/Megaflow cat-back /energy bushing all over/Ported TB/home make ground wires

260000km and counting.....

I'd probably pay the extra and stick with o-e ford though. better safe than sorry :D
