Not a bad idea if it actually works.

i think the idea behind it is to lift op the ass end of the hood so it doesn't seal with the engine bay to allow air out of the engine bay.

however it would also raise the hood about 1" above the currenty body line which would look kinda silly imho. might be alright on a dedicated track car where looks don't matter but it would look really out of place on a street car. i'd rather go with a vented hood that those things... atleast my hood would still vent propperly!
