what weight oil are you guys running? my friend with the turbo zx2 is thinking of running 15w50....is that too heavy for a zetec?

5w30 Mobil 1 for me
I was running 15w50 Mobil 1 when I was doing the turbo, it seemed ok. But then again it could have been the reason for my oil drain problems too.....

we run 0 weight but 5 weight oil is fine IMO

you may want to go slightly hgher weight with a turbo to keep oil from leaking past the seals... superchargers can use the same weight as stock.
I don't think 50w is necessary unless you're like turbo tom going for super high numbers (thicker oil also raises cylinder pressures too).

Powerworks recommends 5w30 synth, we run Royal Purple in all the boosted foci we have touched.

I try and use CLEAN oil it weems to work best for me :lol:
