Will I guess now it wouldnt be much saving.

I did some research and the SVT dropped so much in price it WOULD be worth your while to get the SVT if you could with the extra power. So now I know.

Here are some prices I picked up on focus's.

2002 Focus SVT (26621 miles) - $4,995.00
2003 Focus SVT (12000 miles) - $5,100.00
Heavly Modded 2002 Focus SVT with turbo - $11,995.00

Unbelievable.

It just goes to show you how s**t these cars really are. Okay maybe not s**t par say, but shitty sale value. The SVT was supposed the be the "flagship focus" and is now berely worth more than a normal one. what a joke.

I just think there are way better cars out there for the money.

Show me. :P

I wanna see bang for buck comparisions.

IMHO, not much comes close to it.

Escpecially with the prices Jay posted above.

NOW if we were talking sticker price (aka 28G's +), then yeah......so much better out there for the price.

I DON'T TRUST EBAY for things over 50 bucks and i would need to have lots of info when buying. I know a guy bought a car that was supposedly all mint complete and number matching and all that crap, turned out to be a half finished lesser model made up into a better one. they are STILL fighting it from a year ago

SVTs are sexy, but they appear to be a bitch to get more than 220WHP out of because of their high compression (10.2:1 IIRC).

Most Zetecs can hit that all day long with a good turbo kit and I/C apparently.
Daily driver 1: 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport "S"

33" BFG Mud-Terrain KM2s, lots of Rough Country gear - bumper, 2.5" lift, swaybar disconnects, Superwinch 10,000lb winch, Detroit Locker in rear D44 axle, custom exhaust, K+N filtercharger, Superchips-tuned.

Daily driver 2: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT

COBB Stage 1+ package - AccessPort tuner, COBB intake and airbox. Stage 2 coming shortly - COBB 3" AT stainless DP and race cat, custom 3" Magnaflow-based exhaust and Stage 2 COBB tune.

most forms of boosting the SVT are netting nearly 250whp... the regular zetec is a bitch to get more than 220WHP out of because of it's wimpy internals (on 91 octane that is)
