Repairing Stone Chip In Paint Questions
#1
Okay I just washed the car yesterday and discovered a nasty stone chip on the hood of my car... on an '05 with only a little over 20,000km!

So I'm assuming that Ford sells tubes of touch up paint, but I'm not sure about the best method to apply the paint to both fill in the hole and cover it up properly. Do I go for the "many thin coats over a week" method, or do I do fewer thicker coats?

Thanks for any advice you can give me.
