Most of the maintenance is CHEAP!! Compared to thing like Ferrari and even a Viper, it takes a plain ford FL-820-S oil filter, and even the front pads are only $411.83. I would call that cheap for a super car

There was a 2005 GT at the auto show that came by Calgary. Then it was stored at a Ford dealership that my ex-bf worked at.

Long story short, I got to sit in it. DAMN, 320 km/hr speedo gauge. I couldn't touch the pedals without stretching out since the seat was all the way to the back for the show. The steering wheel and shifter are so close together, I can't imagine what driving this thing might be like. The tach is right in front of you, you can see it through the steering wheel, and the speedo is off to the side; you don't need to know how fast you're going, hahaha.

As long as it's not the damn "squish forged" front control arms, sure. They've had more build problems than the Focus!

I think for a fraction of the cost I'll FI a damn Mustang GT.

Nice car, but it's really a three season car... or would anyone be insane enough to drive the thing in the winter?

I can just see the CAA call now in mid-December... "Uh yeah hi, my Ford GT's battery is dead can I get a boost? click .... Hello? Hello?"

So they changed the bumpers for 2006 to pass our more stringent laws?
