BAH! Steve Moore is a pussy!
if he hadn't blind sided Naslund with the high elbow to the head, whihc took Naslund out for 3 games during his hotest scoring streak of the year, none of this would have ever happened. if the NHL had of given Moore a game or a few for the hit, which Moore never recieved a penelty for, this probably never would have happened. if Granato hadn't put Moore on the ice when he knew the Canucks were looking for revenge for the hit on Naslund and now had nothing to loose as far as the game was concerned. if he wasn't such a little bitch to not fight Bert for the entire shift before getting laid out then it would be over and he would have taken Bert out for 5mins, the game(if you were watching the game you would know what i am talking about) and probably 1-2 more games with a minor suspension(like which should have been handed out at the end of the game to more people anyways but weren't).
everyone remembers the punch, because that's all they show or talk about on TV. for those of us who wiere at the game, you got to watch Bert tail Moore around the whole ice for the entire shift, TRYING to get Moore to fight. right before the punch Moore brushed Bert off, we all pick up from that point when you turn on your TVs....
Just like street racing is so much of a bigger problem than all the drinking and driving that happens on our streets, facts are always left out by the media. :rolleyes:

Sure if Moore did something and didn't get caught at it, it sucks (Why I've always thought that video replays should be used to hand out supplementary discipline post game) but Bertuzzi jumped Moore from behind and rode him to the ice like he was a flying carpet, just because Moore wouldn't take Bertuzzi up on the knuckle sandwich he may have deserved. That's not cool.

just to add the last little bit to this already beaten dead hourse, bert stepped on his stick which slide out, Bert fell forward onto Moore. watch the replay again, i believe it is his left skate, the stick is on the ground.
and if you can find it, you will see it much better from the reverse angle.
oh and i'm not saying that Bert was right OR wrong, this stuff happens all the time in hockey, just this time it turned out really bad.
no, you're right, two wrongs do not make a right. but in Hockey, you have to take care of your own and not be a pussy, refs don't catch everything so some times the price is paid another way.... it's part of the game, this time it just turned out very badly.
oh McSorely(sp) on Brashear(sp) was FAR FAR FAR worse than Bert and Moore. So was Hunter on Turgeron!

Dana Myrzn who used to be on the Canucks back in the day was pretty bad too. no1 pylon on the Canucks D-line for 5 years!
